Grow Your Own Miracle Tree

Moringa oleifera aka Malunggay is a fast-growing, drought-resistant tree grown in many places around the world. Besides being edible and extremely high in nutrients, the entire tree has applications. Natural water purification, nutritional livestock feed, and indigenous medicinal uses are just a few common ways this "Miracle Tree" can be utilized. Moringa is a sun and heat-loving plant that will lose its leaves if exposed to weather under 70 degrees for too long. Freezing will kill the tree but once the hot weather returns so will the Moringa. If you live in an area where it often freezes or snows, you may want to consider growing them in a greenhouse or possibly locate/create an appropriate micro-climate on your property that may help your tree to thrive. In the U.S. , climates similar to that of California have had great success growing these trees.

DIY Build Your Own Natural Pool/Garden Pond

There are so many benefits to having a natural body of water on your property. By installing a natural pool/garden pond you not only will have a great place to take a dip on a hot day, you are creating a friendly habitat for beneficial wildlife while providing yourself with a large reserve of fresh water in case of an emergency. Regular pools require harsh chemicals like chlorine that are harmful to skin and hair, the environment, uninhabitable for the many natural species that are part of a healthy garden, and undrinkable in case of an emergency. Although this concept is still relatively new to most parts of the world, places like Germany where half of all new installations are natural pools, have embraced this working model for some time. To learn more about how you can build your own natural pool tune in to the video playlist below.
